Nicollet Island Pavilion is located at 40 Power St, Minneapolis, MN 55401. It's situated on Nicollet Island, which is just north of St. Anthony Falls and on the Mississippi River. The pavilion has views of the Minneapolis skyline and bridges, including the Hennepin Avenue Bridge, the Nicollet Island Mississippi Bridge, and the Merriam Street Bridge.

Yes! We will have a free parking lot reserved for guests to park at the pavilion.

We are not insisting on any formal dress code. Please wear what dressing up means to you! This includes family members.

Guests will start being seated around 3:30 pm for the 4:00 pm ceremony. When you arrive, there will be signs directing the way, and you'll be greeted and helped to a seat.

The ceremony will be outdoors behind the pavilion, weather permitting. If there is a high chance of rain, it will be held in the adjacent tent, also behind the building.

Please click on the section "RSVP" on this site, enter your name as it appears on your invitation envelope, and you should be able to RSVP for yourself and anyone else in your party.

Children of family members are welcome and are indicated on your invitation envelope. Please keep in mind the pavilion is located on the Mississippi River and constant supervision is required.

We decided on a buffet style dinner, so guests can mingle and help themselves to whatever looks good. There will be options such as chicken and beef dishes, vegetarian salads, potatoes, and vegetables.

Please let us know by June 15th if you have any dietary restrictions so we can make plans to accomodate you. We can do special requests for vegan and gluten-free.

We have reserved a hotel block at the Radisson Red in downtown Minneapolis. Please call 1-800-333-3333 and ask for the Doescher Barringer Wedding Room Block. Or, please use the link https//choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/mq44p7 to reserve your room. Reservations must be made by June 10th to get the discount. The block discount rate is applied to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There is also a lovely inn called Nicollet Island Inn right next to the pavilion. We did not get a block there, but guests are welcome to stay there based on availability.
